Server Price Index: Generic 64GB Server Over Time
The following charts display the price for a 64GB RAM server in Euro (excluding VAT) over time for different server types.
A lower value indicates better value for money.
Analyze how providers have adjusted their pricing for 64GB RAM servers.
Explore our comprehensive pricing history charts for memory, CPU, and server price indices. Analyze trends over time to make informed decisions on your hosting needs. Stay updated with the latest data for various server types including VPS, Root Servers, and Dedicated Servers. Optimize your budget with insights from our detailed pricing history.
Keep in mind that metrics are hard to compare across different server types and providers due to varying hardware specifications, performance levels, and included services. Always consider these factors alongside pricing data to ensure you select the best option for your specific requirements.
All information is calculated based on publicly available data and is intended for informational purposes only. Prices and offerings may change over time, so always verify details with the respective hosting providers before making any purchasing decisions.

Memory or RAM (Random Access Memory) is used to temporarily store data that your computer's processor needs to access quickly. It plays a crucial role in determining the performance and speed of your server. You can use our RAM per 1 Euro charts to see how much memory you can get for your money over time. Another metrics that influences memory performance is the memory type (e.g., DDR4, DDR5) and its speed (measured in MHz). Sadly, most providers do not publicly disclose this information, so it would be very hard to include it fairly in our calculations.
Logical CPU Cores represent the number of processing units available in a server's CPU. More cores generally mean better multitasking and performance for applications that can utilize multiple threads. You can use our CPU Price Index to see how CPU pricing has evolved over time. We do not take into account CPU models, clock speeds, or architectures, as this information is often not publicly available from providers. Providers might adjust these factors without changing the advertised core count, which could impact performance. For VPS you might encounter noisy neighbours or the provider might overbook the CPU resources, which can also impact performance.
A Price Index is a statistical measure that tracks changes in prices over time for a specific category of goods or services. In our case, we provide price indices for memory, CPU, and various server types. These indices help you understand pricing trends and make informed decisions when selecting hosting services.
Our Generic Server Type Price Index shows the price you need to pay for most common server configurations over time. We aggregate data for servers with 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB of RAM to provide a comprehensive overview of pricing trends across different memory tiers. While providers might discontinue one specific server configuration, they often introduce new ones with similar specs. By aggregating data across these common configurations, we ensure that our price index remains relevant and reflective of the overall market trends.
Use our pricing history charts to make informed decisions about your hosting needs and optimize your budget effectively. Stay updated with the latest trends in server pricing and performance metrics. Happy hosting!
